Sitemap Finder & Checker
Find XML sitemaps on any public website from robots.txt and common paths, then check whether they parse and how many URLs they list.
How this works
- Enter a website URL (homepage is enough).
- We fetch robots.txt and look for Sitemap: lines.
- We also probe common paths such as /sitemap.xml and /sitemap_index.xml.
- Each discovered file is fetched and parsed so you can see type, URL count, and issues.
Sitemap found. Plan the SEO fixes as real tasks.
WorkFocus helps freelance developers plan today, run client projects, and show what they shipped — without juggling five apps.
FAQ
Where do sitemaps usually live?
Most sites list them in robots.txt. Common fallbacks are /sitemap.xml and /sitemap_index.xml. This tool checks those locations for you.
Does this crawl every page?
No. It only fetches robots.txt and sitemap files, not the whole site.
Is this sitemap finder free?
Yes. No signup. When you are done auditing a client site, plan the fix work in WorkFocus.
